January 10, 2011 update - Learn and Play is currently looking for bilingual teachers
for immediate incorporation. Morning and afternoon classes available.
Job / Employment title: Native and Bilingual Teachers,
Location: Calle Damaso Alonso, 30, Alcala de Henares.
Need the teacher by: From September / October on. We are looking for native teachers for our afterschool programs.
Minimum experience required: Experience teaching children from ages 2 years to 18 years and adults. Experience with Trinity exams. Experience planning conversation classes for children 8-18 years of age and for adults.
Description of the academy: Dynamic English learning center, where children come with their parents to learn english together in a fun and nurturing environment. Older children come to class on their own for conversation classes in English.
Conditions of employment: We are looking for teachers who are highly motivated, spirited, fun and who are not afraid of making a fool out of themselves while teaching. We love to sing, cook, dance, make crafts, play, run around and have an all around good time. These teachers are needed in afterschool hours, Monday through Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. during the school year (September till June) We also need teachers in morning hours for adults and parents who would like to learn English to help their kids in school. (September till June). The children's classes are designed by Learn and Play and given to the teachers, along with all the material needed for class. Teachers must have a valid work permit, driver's permit is a plus. We will only consider teachers who are seriously looking for work for the full school term. Training is provided.
Salary: Ranges from 18 euros an hour of class (classes are 45 minutes for children up to 8 years of age) depending on prior experience / net and slightly higher for autonomos with proof of alta de autonomos. Bonuses are offered.
