Minimum background required: B.A./B.S. & CELTA/TEFL qualification; Master's degree in language or teaching-related field preferred; minimum of 1 year teaching experience with references. EU citizen or valid work permit required.
Description of institution: A prominent historic entity in Madrid, the IIE offers a full range of language courses from basic to proficiency levels and TOEFL exam preparation. We also have a growing and innovative Young Learners Program (ages 6-16) and specialized classes for bilingual/bicultural children.
Conditions of employment: Candidates submit cover letters and CVs via email, and appropriate candidates are invited for an interview according to program needs. Candidates must be native speakers North American English and have permission to work in Spain (NIE and SS). Please state legal residence and work status in application letter.
Salary: 23 euros - 25 euros gross per hour depending on qualifications. Part-time positions only. We offer contracts, paid holidays and teacher support.
